Cawston Church of England Primary Academy  is a primary school which joined the Diocese of Norwich Education Academy Trust (DNEAT) in September 2016. We place a strong emphasis on giving all children a good grounding in the basics of English and Mathematics, as well as providing a broad , enriched curriculum with an emphasis on creativity and enjoyment. We are committed to the shared values of DNEAT and continue to provide the very best of education for children in our care. We have a strong family ethos with 160 children who take part in whole school events throughout the school year.

The school is located in extensive grounds, which offer exceptional sporting and leisure facilities including:

  • A School Garden Area
  • A large playing field with an Activity Play Zone in our Eco Park
  • A large and stimulating playground area
  • A purpose built classroom and  play area for our Reception children

Our present buildings date from 1953, though the school has operated in Cawston since the 1870s. We cater for children aged 4-11 years old. We have six classes, four of which are housed in the main building,  our new Reception classroom being completed in October 2016.  Two classes are in a new modular building. We have a large hall with an on site kitchen.
