Reception places for September 2021

Children are welcomed into school at the beginning of the year they are five. If you would like your child to join our school in the Reception Year starting in September 2021 please apply to Norfolk County Council before 15th January 2021. Parents need to apply for a school place direct to the Education Department, using an application form. The form is included in the County Council’s “Parents’ Guide to Primary, Infant and First Schools in Norfolk”, which will be sent to you in good time, you can also apply online full details are here.

All children are welcome to stay full-time after the first week, but if parents of wish them to start part-time only, this can be discussed with the class teacher.

The Local Authority have agreed an intake limit of 30 Reception children per year. If there are more children who wish to enter school than we apply the criteria set out in our Admissions Policy.

Parents are notified if their application has been successful or unsuccessful at the beginning of the Summer Term.

Unfortunately we are unable to show people around the school during lockdown. It may be possible to reschedule during December – if you would like to visit after school hours please phone the school office to make an appointment for a ‘socially distanced’ tour of the school.
